Presenting BAGUS! – A special compilation album comprising of all talented artistes under the wings of EZS Music Productions guaranteed to cater to all music lovers!

How It All Began

Starting out as a novel idea being tossed around in the minds of the good people from EZS, it gradually formed root with the demise of the late Salleh “Blackwall”, EZS’ resident musician.

In deepest appreciation of his great contribution to the company as well as the local music industry, the idea of producing EZS’ inaugural compilation album then quickly grew in importance as the company’s major project.

During the 8 months of pre-production, the EZS team rounded up all its artistes and everyone worked tremendously hard to input their very best. Not a mean feat, considering all the different genres they all come from! Ideas shared, debates fought, smiles shone, tummies begged (!!)…. Nevertheless, nothing could beat the smiles on everyone’s faces when the product was given its finishing touches and finally presented to the whole team!

Now, that is simply the prologue. Herein marks the beginning of what we call the “BAGUS journey”….

Songs of unique yet distinct flavour, that’s what!

“Kawan Oh! Lawan” is an exact example of such creative synergy. It is a reggae track jointly sung by Izzat from Shine and Emma Rockers, a feel-good song combining both reggae and rock feel. Already playing on the airwaves, it is the album’s 1^st hit single, with promises of more to come!

There is also “Dunia Untuk Kita”, a track sung by the Superfriends – Izzat Shine, Null Mambang, Bobb and Reimy Z. All 4 come from different genres and yet, with strong resolve to write a song about humankind, all (creative) differences were effectively overcome and the result is an enriching, educational track that talks about the current social issues that plague the society.
